Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?

Absolutely! I’d love to give you a glimpse into who I am. I’m Jenny, the new Junior Creative Designer at Article Ten. My roots trace back to East Yorkshire, specifically Hull, which I proudly call my hometown.

How did you get to the point you’re at today with Article Ten?

Since my early years, I’ve found immense joy in creative expression. Pursuing Digital Design at university opened avenues like graphic design, web design, and animation, which I appreciated for their versatility and the creative challenges they presented. After my academic journey, I delved into various creative roles, absorbing invaluable lessons from my talented colleagues! Yet, I always wanted to join a creative agency, and Article Ten instantly captured my attention!

What would you say is a key attribute you bring to the team?

My driving force lies in my passion, enthusiasm, and thirst for knowledge. I adore what I do and believe the best results come when you’re passionate about your craft. I want to hone my design expertise, adopt new software, and embrace every creative challenge that comes my way.

What do you like to do outside work, and does that influence your work?

I find inspiration within the realm of art. Whether immersed in traditional art forms at exhibitions or delving into the digital world through films, these things boost my performance at work and allow me to cultivate fresh, creative ideas.

How is Article Ten life treating you so far?

My time at Article Ten has been fantastic so far. I’ve received consistent support and seamlessly integrated into the team, making me feel like a valued member right from the start. To be part of such a friendly and highly creative team is a pleasure!

Finally, what advice would you give to people looking to move into a creative role like yours?

Embrace learning new things, stay curious, and consistently broaden your knowledge. Remember, there is no fixed blueprint for design; self-expression and the creative process should take centre stage! Always ask questions because your peers will provide excellent insights. I’ve been very fortunate to have had mentors along the path, who taught me valuable creative lessons.
