We’re currently looking for a Copywriter with a keen eye for detail to join our creative project team.  You will have proven experience writing for a range of audiences and sectors across print and digital formats and should be confident working independently. You will be responsible for producing copy to specific client requirements and within tone of voice guidelines and will be required to perform a range of different content roles across writing, research, brainstorming, fact-checking and editing. Projects will include short and long-form copywriting tasks, such as taglines, banners, posters, brochures and blog posts, plus writing voiceover scripts for videos and animations, producing eLearning courses and providing content and narrative for PowerPoint presentations. The role is fully remote, but you will be required to regularly touch base with the team through face-to-face meetings in London.

Responsibilities:

 

Copywriting across a variety of media formats:

  • Working alongside our creative departments to deliver content for print and digital media across multiple projects.
  • Supporting our creative departments and copywriting team in creating concepts for client campaigns and programmes.
  • Providing estimates on timing to project and account managers to maintain a smoothly running schedule.
  • Engaging with clients for project briefings and feedback via phone, email and in person.
  • Working in conjunction with design, digital, presentations and video teams to provide ideas on execution, style and editing.

 

Research, fact-checking and proofreading:

  • Researching topics, products, services and events in order to provide creative input to pitches and copywriting projects.
  • Fact-checking and editing print and digital documents ahead of delivery.

 

Internal projects:

  • Creating engaging content for Article Ten’s website and social media presence.
  • Working on internal and external communications, pitch documents and proposals.
  • Accurately tracking your time in our PM software to ensure there is a complete picture of what billable time is used on a daily basis.

 

Knowledge:
  • A degree in a relevant field such as English, Journalism or Marketing.
  • 2-3 years’ experience within an agency or a similar fast paced environment.
  • A well-rounded understanding of agency processes and practice.
  • Social media content writing and strategy experience a definite plus.
  • Previous work on campaigns and concept work and/or eLearning courses is desirable.
  • Experience covering technology brands and/or information security topics would be a bonus but is not a requirement.

  • Capable of writing across a range of styles, formats and industries.
  • The one everybody feels comfortable to turn to with a question regarding spelling or grammar or support for their own projects.
  • Well versed in the latest marketing techniques, trends and platforms.
  • A versatile owner and user of initiative.
